HIstory:
St Lawrence's church has been a place of worship for over a thousand years.
There was a church here in 960 AD when King Edgar gave the patronage to
Brithnotus. The oldest parts of the church are Norman but it has been altered and
added to over the centuries. The newest stained glass window, installed in 2012,
commemorates the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.
